Ever since I was a kid I have loved "tricky questions" and brain teasers. One of my math teachers once told me that every time you solve a new type of problem you add a brand new brain tool, and each new brain tool increases your IQ. The reason is that the next time you see a similar problem, your brain goes and gets the tool it used before and solves the problem. “But remember,” he said. “You need to keep up the maintenance or your tools become rusty and dull. “

Ok, number one was a good warm up. Here are some more brain teasers!
Pie question
If 1 1/2 men can eat 1 1/2 pies in 1 1/2 minutes, how many pies can 3 men eat in 30 minutes?
Expression
"I will bet you $1" said Ben, "that if you give me $2, I will give you $3 in return."
"Done," replied Bill. What was the end result of the bet?
You have to measure exactly 4 liters of water, but you only have a 3liter bottle and a 5liter bottle.
How do you do it?
The Heavy Coin You have a pile of 24 coins. Twentythree of these coins have the same weight, and one is heavier. Your task is to determine which coin is heavier and do so in the minimum number of weighings. You are given a beam balance (scale), which will compare the weight of any two sets of coins out of the total set of 24 coins.
How many weighings are required to identify the heavier coin?
